Privacy Policy — AIGLOBALBUDDY

AIGLOBALBUDDY (“we,” “us”) runs a crowdsourced scoreboard where people report which AI tools work best for different jobs. This page explains what information we collect, what we do with it, and what's public versus private.

Information we collect

Account info: your email address and password, used to sign in. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we never see or store your raw password.
Profile info: the handle (display name) and country you choose when you first sign in.
Content you post: tool ratings, scores, price tiers, and optional notes you submit.
Moderation actions: reports you flag (and the reason you give), and users you choose to block.

What's public vs. private

Your handle, country, and everything you post (ratings, price tiers, notes) are shown publicly on the leaderboard — that's the point of the app. Your email address is never shown publicly. Flags you submit are visible only to us for moderation. Blocks you set are visible only to you.

How we use your information

To show your reports, handle, and country on the board
To compute aggregate scores from everyone's reports
To send you a confirmation email when you sign up
To review flagged content and take moderation action
To enforce rate limits (e.g. one re-rating per tool every 7 days) that keep the board honest

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, each of which processes data on our behalf:

Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication
Resend — delivers our sign-up confirmation emails
Vercel — hosts the website

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in. That's it — no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics tools are installed on this site at this time.

How long we keep your data

Reports are kept as a permanent, unedited record by design — this is what keeps the scoreboard trustworthy and resistant to manipulation (a report can't be quietly altered after the fact). If you'd like your account or content removed, contact us (below) and we'll process the request — this is currently handled manually rather than through a self-service delete button.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated content, by contacting us at the email below.

Children

AIGLOBALBUDDY is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
